Car Designer

Mention the name “Schreyer” and even my husband with his superior knowledge of anything on wheels will be stumped.

Trying to prod him to find out who and what this name signifies is akin to asking the typical men to read up on subjects like top diet pill – even if they want to, they will not do it in your presence.

Actually I knew about him from a magazine article – that he was the design master of the original Audi TT, one of the most distinctive sports coupe. But it was his current job which greatly explains how anyone can easily mistake this car as one of those European cars – until we discovered the badge.

Admit it, the Kia Forte is a car that managed to make you do a double take or look longer than you would previously do on any cars from this brand. You won’t be the only one who was surprised when you realised that that chic car was actually Korean-made!

One truly satisfied owner proudly wrote his review on his Naza Kia Forte.

He and the rest of us who now has our interest piqued by the next offerings from this manufacturer has one man to thank for – and his name is Peter Schreyer.

  1. Kudos to him for making me buy the Forte as previously, I would never think twice of skipping Kia/Hyundai because of their past issues. With Schreyer on board, Kia is now rebuilding. I LOVE IT. :-)

  2. They are definitely rebuilding for the better – love the Koup and Sorento’s looks as well.
