A large number of members from a particular religious group including my parents-in-law made a week-long praying cum sightseeing trip to Taiwan last month.
Looking through their pictures, most of their group member were the elderly – some even older than them!
The week before they left, Taiwan was cold with temperatures below 10 degrees Celcius so they got their cold weather outfit out from the storeroom, ready to be packed. But one day before they left, the weather was decidedly warmer so they took out their thicker jackets.
When they returned, they told us that it was very warm.
The funny thing was, a few days later the temperature dipped again! Perhaps Mother Nature was being thoughtful of the influx of elderly tourists and praying devotees as being less cold can help to relieve joint pains since they had to do a lot of walking.
