A friend told me that you can get a low as $4++ for a direct flight from Bandar Seri Begawan to Shanghai – lower than the $5++ which I was quoted for September 2010.
We have no plans to visit this city (this year) as I don’t see it as a holiday destination fit for kids – 3 kids below 7 years of age, to be exact. Besides for a family of 5, it is a cool $2+++.
Theoretically, it’s not a problem since we can pay with a credit card and take advantage of the minimum payment option to spread the payment for months or years.
Still, $2+++ spent is $2+++ spent – no matter how soon or late we pay it.
Looks like we have to find a destination that is easier on the pocket.
