Kids In Expensive Daddy’s Cars

Yesterday, we saw a young man who is probably not even out of university, stepping out of a Porsche.

How lucky for someone so young to enjoy such luxury in life!

Just like some young professionals I know. Driving around town and work in expensive cars - courtesy of fathers in high-paying jobs who service the loan payments for such cars. I doubt if these young folks - who are barely 2 or 3 years in their jobs - even pay the road tax or insurance. By the way, get some auto insurance quotes here.

Don’t you just wonder sometimes : What is the motivation for these young folks to work hard?

Being a parent, I can understand the need to lavish our kids this way. When parents have a range of expensive cars in the garage, why should they insist that their kids get a car that fits their own income?

In short, if we can afford it, why not? That’s what parents work hard for anyway. So our children don’t struggle like we do.

But where do we draw the line between lavishing and spoiling?
